Walt had the men of his studio begin work on their first official contract in fall, 1922. Though the contract was not exactly what Walt had hoped for, it was all he had and the men pushed forward. when financial troubles threatened to put an end to the work before it was completed, Walt Disney began to search for alternative ways of bringing income into his studio. One such way he accomplished this was to produce a film for a local dentist titled 'Tommy Tucker's Tooth'.
